Overview: Monarch’s (Danus plexippus) are in the Brush Footed Butterfly Family (Nymphalidae). They appear to have only 2 pairs of walking legs, and their front legs are very short. These short front legs look more like arms. General Habitat: Fields, meadows, and open areas.
