Overview: Satyrs (Satyrinae) are in the BRUSH FOOTED BUTTERFLY FAMILY (Nymphalidae). The Satyrs appear to have only 2 pairs of walking legs. Their front legs are very short and look more like arms. General Habitat: Moist deciduous woodland glades.
